Another question : comapre and contrast the structures of botth stories ( another way to wigh an elephant" and " Tansens gift") Both stories "another way to weigh an elephant," and "Tansens gift" has similar setting. They both took place an a village, long ago when there were kings and queens. "Another way to weigh an elephant," took place in a china village, while "Tensens gift" took place in india. Both the rulers in these story gave orders from their villagers to either do them a favor or discover their true gifts. In the "Another way to weigh an elephant," the Empress ordered her villagers on how to take care of her elephant. "Tansen's Gift," the rulers wanted to discover if Tansen has a gift or not.

slah can u help me with explain how" Tansen's Gift" supports the idea that intelligence does not always come from formal education. USE TWO DETAILS FROM THE PASSAGE TO SUPPORT YOUR ANSWER.
@slash ^
yes i can
In the story, "Tansen's Gift," it supports the idea that intelligence does not always come from formal education because Tansen's father gave many tutors to make his son intelligent and get a nice career when he grows up but tensen likes to sing and he has talents and intelligent. Tensen talents are his intelligent, he doesn't need to have a formal education. Based on real life, look at celebrities today, they don't go to college but still seem level headed on interviews. YOu don't need formal education to become intelligent. In the story "Tensens gift," if you have true talents in singing you can change the weather with your voice, that's how they discovered his true talents.
to me, formal education is good, but you don't need to continue education through university if you have an important gift that can make a good career.
not bad at all @Zale101
thx @Slash1998
Welcome @Zale101
