Create your own rational function and graph that function using technology.

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

do you know what a rational function is ?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

do you know what polynomial function is?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

ok can you give me a (simple) example of a polynomial function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ration function y=x-2/x-3. Radical function y=x+2/x+4? Is this right??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Radical function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It seems like you already do have a rational function. Why not just use that? ^.^

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

well, \[y=\frac{x-2}{x-3}\]&\[y=\frac{x+2}{x+4}\] are both rational function because the RHS is a ratio of two polynomials

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

do you have the technology?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your question doesn't mention anything called "radical function" ^.^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have to do one just like this but with a radical function..

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

oh, so your working on two questions at once

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I already finished them..but was wrong about the radical function..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A radical function.... involves radicals? :D

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

a radical function has a sqrt of a variable in it like \[y= √(4x)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aww does it really have to be a square root? :D

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

any root i think , square, cube, ... ,the other ones ...
