OpenStudy (aravindg):
replace cos^2 x with 1-sin^2 x in left hand side of equation
OpenStudy (anonymous):
is that all? @AravindG
OpenStudy (aravindg):
yep then just open it up you will get the result !
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Thanks so much for your help! :) Will that work for this problem as well.... 1+tan^2x/tan^2x=csc^2x? or is it a diff. method?
OpenStudy (aravindg):
well 1+tan^2 x =sec^2 x ,just do sec^2 x/tan^2 x :)

In the top problem when replacing cos^2 x with 1-sin^2 x on the left hand side do i multiply it and that gets rid of it or what? how do i get rid o it?
OpenStudy (aravindg):
just substitute and then use distributive property add constants :)
OpenStudy (aravindg):
are you getting it ?

yw :) ...lemme knw if you have doubts on such proofs again its my fav topic !
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
is there a way you can draw the problems out?
OpenStudy (aravindg):
yep use draw button below ..you can also use equation button
