jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so the text of your exercise : :- graph thge LINEAR equation --- --- LINEAR ___ ---- what mean this for you ?

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

^^^^^^^

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so do you understand it now ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know what a linear equation is..

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

Well, lets look at the context clues. What does linear mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk...

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

Well, in the word "linear" you can see the word "line". A line is straight correct? Which is EXACTLY what your equation is. You have shown us parabola graphs which will always have a curve.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

So either you have shown us the wrong answers choices, or your teacher has made a mistake.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry wrong pics!!

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes hang on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there ya go

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

Can you tell me which of those graphs are most similar to the one i posted earlier?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the first 1

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

I believe you are correct :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!!

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

No problem ^-^ PM me if you ever need any more graphing help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thx and dont mind my asking where did you get the graphing calculator??

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

You can buy a good Ti-83 at your local office supply store of via amazon. You will need one once you reach high school as a requirement :)
