3 gallons

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well This is simple, if 1/2 gallons covers 1/6 of the wall then 1 gallon covers 2/6. Then 1 1/2 gallons cover up 3/6, then 2 gallons covers 4/6 of the wall. You see were this is going? My answer would be 3 gallons will fill up the entire wall.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

1/2 gallons : 1/6 wall multiply both sides by 6 to get 1/2 gallons : 1/6 wall 6*(1/2 gallons) : 6*(1/6 wall) 6/2 gallons : 6/6 wall 3 gallons : 1 wall 1 wall: 3 gallons so you need 3 gallons of paint to cover 1 wall

No problem, how old are you? This is very simple math....What part did you not get? Or is it just laziness?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then tell me what part of this did you not get?
