OpenStudy (studiousstudent):

Sorry that this is not a mathematics question, but can you please help , high schools... Alright, so I received a letter from Aviation High School that I had been accepted, I returned the letter to my guidance counselor that I would accept this offer. Now, I have been thinking about it and don't really want to go to this high school, instead I want to go to John Bowne High School. Please tell me what I should do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should weigh the options provided by both schools. Determine with that which school you really do prefer. And if you so chose the go the John Bowne High School, talk to the administrators of Aviation High school, but ready to answer questions as to why you chose to not attend their school.

OpenStudy (studiousstudent):

I will need to answer many questions regarding why I don't want to stay at their school?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It may not be many, but they deserve to ask questions if they already processed your application and your are now telling them that you don't want to attend. It is nothing bad, it's like a business, they just will want to know how to make themselves better

Directrix (directrix):

@StudiousStudent >Please tell me what I should do. Speak to the Counselor and tell that person of your decision. Then, ask the Counselor to tell you the proper protocol for getting enrolled in the school where you want to go. Let the Counselor be your guide. It's your life and you have to right to make whatever decision best fits you. Act quickly in case the enrollment time for the school you want to attend is limited. Look at it this way: There may be a student who wants to go to Aviation but there was no room for him or her. So, you may make that student happy with your decision.
