Simplify each expression. Please help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2\sqrt{25}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How did you do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 * sqrt(25) = 2 * 5 = 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{3}*\sqrt{18}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[3\sqrt{6}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do i simplify them do i factor them out first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it doesnt matter. just multiply everything in the square root and then get squares out. for example, sqrt(3) * sqrt(18) = sqrt(54). since 54 = 9 * 6 = 3^2 * 6, you know that you can take out the 3 in the sqrt(54) thus it becomes 3 * sqrt(6)

\[\sqrt{60x^4y^7}\]
