What does the term "outsourcing" mean when used by the U.S. media? It is the hiring of minorities to complete work. It is the hiring of immigrants to complete work. It is the building of businesses in foreign countries. It is the building of foreign businesses in the United States.

I think it's the third one. Usually outsourcing is a cheaper way for companies or corporations to do things.

okay thanks(: @redred413 could i get ur opinion

AFAimHigh has the right idea -- outsourcing is just as it sounds, sourcing your work to locales outside of your business. For example, car companies like GM and Ford have built car plants in countries like China to service their market. The manufacturing for Apple's iPhones are largely outsourced to China's factories and then brought back here for sale. That's why you have labels like "Made in China" because labor has been outsourced to places where the labor is generally cheaper.

thank you for ur second opinion!!
