If the height of a cylinder is tripled, but the area of the base stays the same, what happens to the volume? The volume doubles. The volume triples. The volume is four times greater. The volume is nine times greater.

If you take a look at the equation for the *Volume of a cylinder, the height (h) parameter is used in a linear manner, so it would seem that the volume would triple also.
