Choose the correct simplification of 9x^2(4x + 2x^2 − 1).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so its 36x^3+19x^4-9x^2

OpenStudy (imtant):

Multiply 9x^2 into the bracket. you will get 36x^3+18x^4-9x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry 18* typo!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your problem should look like this when expanded all out (9x^2)(4x) + (9x^2)(2x^2) - (9x^2)(1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

36x4 − 13x3 + 9x2?

OpenStudy (imtant):

So then you need to factorize and yo will get x^2(36x+18x^2-9)=0

Instant is 100% correct! :3

@zerosniper123 u were talking about my answer right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No I wasnt...You did almost all the math correct, but the second part and that third part of your answer is wrong. When you multiplied 2x^2 and 9x^2 it should have been 18x^4 and the last part when you multiplied -1 and 9x^2 it should have been -9x^2.
