find the length of a rectangle whose area is 2x^3+3x^2y+3xy^2+y^3) mm^2, and width is (2x+y) mm?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for a Rectangle, we have : Area = length * width so, length = Area / width we divide the area with the width.

I understand that, but I've been having a really hard time dividing it. Once I get down to y^3/3x+y, I run out of multiples and then end up with a remainder. How do I write the length with that remainder?
