What is the method for drawing conclusions that asks questions of the text and involves the reader in finding the information? (Points : 3) Inductive reasoning Deductive reasoning Inference Guiding Questions

mathslover (mathslover):

This method is called interference. And the conclusion drawn is called idiomatic. Different types of methods are there, in this quest. we are been asked for such a method in which drawing conclusions that ask questions and texts is involved, so it is interference.

OpenStudy (bostonblue):

i think the answer is inductive reasoning. i wasn't sure, but this quote makes me think it might be right. it's a hard question. "The process by which a conclusion is inferred from multiple observations is called inductive reasoning."

mathslover (mathslover):

^(I meant inference there)

mathslover (mathslover):

Boston, you may be right , but the definitions of both from wikipedia is here : Inference is the act or process of deriving logical conclusions from premises known or assumed to be true.[1] The conclusion drawn is also called an idiomatic. The laws of valid inference are studied in the field of logic. Inductive reasoning, also known as induction or informally "bottom-up" logic,[1] is a kind of reasoning that constructs or evaluates general propositions that are derived from specific examples. Inductive reasoning contrasts with deductive reasoning, in which specific examples are derived from general propositions.

OpenStudy (bostonblue):

i know, i looked up several definitions. i pm'd the asker of question also to find out if it was test or homework. i told him it was a hard question! it is very confusing. not sure why the teacher is asking it that way. you could be right, i could be right. . . not sure. . . but we've probably spent enough time on it :)

mathslover (mathslover):

:) Yeah Boston, its confusing, these type of quest. should NOT be given in tests/hw/ or anything, these are confusing quest. and it is not sure that a single will be the answer.
