basically, I know I have to start from the bottom. I have attached to the chart. I just keep getting it wrong and need guidance. I went with GCA TAC CGC CCC GGG but I am off it seems.

m-RNA strands formation occurs always from 5' to 3' Direction.In above example i take DNA Strands 3'to 5'as Template Strand (from bottom in your fig) and then i create mRNA strand for it (in place of A in mRNA use U,in place of G in mRNA use C,in place of T in mRNA use A and Vice-Versa)

I see thanks. ok..now the only part is still I don't understand..how did you determine the start point? because on the description it says..that the MRNA starts immediately to the right of the last A in the promoter sequence. It says the next letter after the A is CGT..and you have CCG.
