graph for the equation t > 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is this a number line or coordinate plane?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A= 6.5t a is garbage in pounds produced by t days in an average household. I calculated how many days it would take to reach 100 pounds. but i now have to graph for the equation t > 0, it says.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok it should be a coordinate plane

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1366608187586:dw| not to scale

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya, that's what the graph looks like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not sure how to graph t> 0. or what that even means!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it only goes to 10 on each side of the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it means anything greater than t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right, but how do you graph that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually what does t denote

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In a certain year, the amount A of garbage produced in pounds after t days in an average household is given by A=6.5t.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then it says graph the equation for t > 5.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It also asked me to find how many days it will take the average household to produce 100 pounds of garbage. I got approx. 15 days.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have gone over shading right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorta....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so whats t > 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in words what does it mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is a graph that looks like this: |dw:1366608783659:dw|
