Algebra 2 help
for this question first you to do is to convert radian into degrees
how do i do that? i'm super confused on this
Do you know how to change it ?
i've tried but i keep getting nothing close to it.
okay i'm there
what do i do?
7 pi/4, -pi/4 <--radius 315, -45 <---degress
Yes now its correct
now what do i do? @goformit100
@Best_Mathematician @terenzreignz
step 1. convert radians into degrees step 2. subtract the degrees by 90, 180 or 270 depending on which quadrant they are step 3. select the sin, cosine value of that particular function step 4. add minus or plus sign depending on which quadrant they are
So your saying I pick one of these 315, -45 then subtract is by 90,180 or 270. then with that answer i sin it ?
lemme give u example lets say you need to find sin 3pi/4 step one 3pi/4 in degrees is 135 now we know it is in second quadrant so step 2 135-90 = 45 step 3. sin 45 is \[\frac{ \sqrt{2} }{ 2 }\] step 4 as it is in 2nd quadrant the value of sin is positive so it is + \[\frac{ \sqrt{2} }{ 2 }\]
this will assist you further
