find the verticle asymptotes of x^2 + x -12/ x^2 -4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats where x^2 -4 = 0 factor (x+2)(x-2) = 0 x = -2,2 so there are your asymptotes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much! im also supposed to find the horizontal asymptote and the x and y intercepts? and find x when F(x) =1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the x intercept you find it by setting y = 0 and solving for x and the y intercept you find it by setting x = 0 and solving for y vertical asymptotes are those like the one we did, but horizonal you have to look at the graph and see the values where they change
