Use the given graph to determine the limit, if it exists. Can someone explain these to me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where is the graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry you're a speed racer lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find lim f(x) as x -> 3+

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the limit does not exist

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you know?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because when u r aproaching to 3 by the left the function gets close to -1 and when u r aproaching to 3 by the right the function gets closer to -3 so the limit by both sides r diferent and this meants that the limit does not exist

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay! Can you help me with one more where the limit does exist?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@julian25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i though u was writing it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find lim f(x) and lim f(x) as they approach 2- and 2+

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when we r aproaching from the left (2-) the function gets closer to 3 when we r aproaching from the right (2+) the function gets closer to -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!
