For each of the following statements, determine whether an inclusive “Or” or exclusive “Or” is used. Give reasons for your answer. (i) To enter a country, you need a passport or a voter registration card. (ii) The school is closed if it is a holiday or a Sunday. (iii) Two lines intersect at a point or are parallel . (iv) Students can take French or Sanskrit as their third language.

Inclusive OR means both of the components may be true at the same time. Exclusive OR means only ONE of the statements may be true at the same time. (OR here meaning inclusive or and XOR here meaning exclusive or) To continue on its species, the tree must be alive OR has born fruit recently. The teacher said I can take the exam on Saturday XOR on Sunday. In the first, a tree may both be alive and have born fruit, but in the exam's case, more or less, an exam may only be taken once, and so, cannot be taken on both days.
I'm suspecting an XOR for (iv) Because if you take one of the for the third language, the other may not ALSO BE a third language, it will be fourth or higher XD
Thank You
