OpenStudy (rajee_sam):

you have to first graph the two lines (linear equation) . Give values for x and find corresponding y and plot the points. Join the points to form the lines. Now the first the inequality is y < 2x + 1 so the line should be a dotted line and the area to the left of the line should be shaded. for the second inequality; after you plot the line y = -3x + 2; the line should be a dotted line and since it is ' >' the region to the right of the line should be shaded. The line should be dotted for '<' and '>' inequality and a solid line for '<=' and '>='.
