(4x^5/2x^2)^-4 can someone help me with this one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the correct answer is:\[\frac{ 1 }{ 16x ^{28} }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the exponent for that "x" would be 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am confused now. I got 16/x^12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The 16 would be on the bottom with the x^12.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i had a typo at first, it is indeed \[\frac{ 1 }{ 16x ^{12} }\] thanks for pointing that out @HighPredator13

OpenStudy (anonymous):
