What are all the missing parts in the triangle below? http://curriculum.kcdistancelearning.com/courses/GEOMx-HS-A09/b/assessments/R-LawofSinesShortAnswerQuiz/Geometry_8.4.9_Quiz_FINAL_10q.gif

use the sine law or cos law

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I cant figure out which number goes where

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u can only use cos law when you know the length of 2 side and the angle between them. this isn't the case here. you'll want to use sine law. a/sinA = b/sinB = c/SinC. a is the side opposite to the angle A, b is opposite to B and c to C. in this one you'll need to find the angle you don't have, then find the remaing angle knowing that the angles of a triangle add up to 180. let me know if you would like more help for this question. :)

22/sin(87)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Euler271

OpenStudy (anonymous):

22/sin(87) = 12 / sin (theta)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

once you find theta then you can do 180 - 87 - theta to get the last angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin (theta)=.5447

OpenStudy (anonymous):

assuming its right, theta = \[\sin^{-1} (0.5447)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do i do with that
