Question in comments!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What rational numbers can you use to approximate π?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

22/7 is the one that I grew up using. There might be better ones though. http://www.isi.edu/~johnh/BLOG/1999/0728_RATIONAL_PI/ gives a great table for approximating pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah we still use 22/7 , 31.4 , ect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\pi \approx 3.14159265358979\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\pi = 180 °\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats not a rational number though. That's irrational. i tried that one too :P @some_someone

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Same with 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, i was just telling you what pi is approximate to and some other way to represent it ;P i was barely going to answer your question lol :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh haha Okay well im gonna try to use @AnElephant chart on that website @some_someone
