Use the diagram to find the measure of PRQ

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont get it...

OpenStudy (nubeer):

which part u dont get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay like I understand they are adjacent and i get where the numbers are from but I just dont get how to start it I guess...

OpenStudy (nubeer):

as u said and know they are adjacent means the angle is same ... so you can both of the values equal to each other and solve it for x? any better or u still not getting?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay yes I got that

OpenStudy (nubeer):

ok as @Mimi_x3 has wrote above u can solve it and get the value of x.. what did u got?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That just what I dont get how to I solve the 3x-4x=35-15 i think thats how they wrote it...

OpenStudy (nubeer):

3x-4x = 15-45 -x = -30 x= 30 right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay

OpenStudy (nubeer):

well now put this value of x in the quations of ur diagram.

OpenStudy (rsadhvika):

4x-3x = 35-15 x = 20 PRQ + QRT = 180 PRQ + 4x+15 = 190 PRQ + 4(20) + 15 = 180 PRQ + 80 + 15 = 180 PRQ + 95 = 180 PRQ = 85

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought x was 30

OpenStudy (nubeer):

no sorry i did a mistake..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well thank you I think I got it
