I think expressions containing x in denominator as well as Square root part will not count in as Polynomials..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it A,B,&E?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

E?? In E, x is in square root form..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In general any expression can be considered a polynomial if it is built from variables and constants using only addition, subtraction, multiplication, and raising expressions to whole number powers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then @waterineyes is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A, B.. What about C part??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C is also in square root form you said "Square root part will not count in as Polynomials"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is C because the max power is above 2 i.e\[x^{3}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hey, there is difference between "Square Root" and "Square".. . no??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

better definition just googling:In mathematics, a polynomial is an expression of finite length constructed from variables (also called indeterminates) and constants, using only the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and non-negative integer exponents.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well thanks you guys ! wish I could give you all medals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In C are you seeing this thing anywhere \(\sqrt{..}\) ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We are not finished yet.. C is also a polynomial.. Now what about F??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is x in denominator or square root form there in F??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes because its also a square!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, it is also a polynomial.. So: A, B, C and F win here...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the correct answers were actually A,C,F

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh wait that was 7 raised to negative x^2?? Oh really very sorry I thought that was \(7x^2\) instead of \(7x^{-2}\)..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have not seen the - part clearly there.. Sorry, B is not..
