First term: plug in n = 1 3n + 5 3*1 + 5 3 + 5 8 So the first term is 8 ---------------------- First term: plug in n = 2 3n + 5 3*2 + 5 6 + 5 11 So the second term is 11 --------------------- etc etc

all u need to do is plug in n = 1, n= 2, etc and find the value.

or... you can start with the first term of 8 and add on 3 each time to get the next term
