i thinks its B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equation to find a slope is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) use that to find the slope!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you got the right slope, it is \(\frac{3}{2}\) but the wrong equation, since it is \[y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Slope intercept form: y = mx + b where m is the slope & b is the y-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equation for the point slope form is y-y1 = m(x-x1) take not of the negative signs!

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

B is close but not correct. You have the slope m correct, though Point-slope form: \[\Large y – y _{1} = m(x – x _{1})\]

@some_someone we're doing point-slope :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks guys ! Its A
