Alex sells T-shirts. It costs Alex $6.50 to buy each T-shirt. Alex also pays $150 to rent equipment to add print to the T-shirts. Alex sells each T-shirt for $12. Write an inequality that can be used to determine the number of T-shirts (T) Alex must sell each month in order to make a profit for the month (Assume that Alex sells each T-shirt he buys).
How far did you get?
Obviously there are the key numbers you can pull out: $150 month rent $6.50 each costs $12 each sales How did you try to put those together to get an answer?
@olivia98 It says you are online, and I would like to help... but I need to know what you need help with. So if you actually are online, please reply.
so far I have 6.50T+150 (le)
@e.mccormick
Well, it is an inequality. That means you need < or >. Also, your profit will be the sale of each minus the cost of each. so, what do you think needs to be < or > what?
