How do charged objects interact with each other

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which is due to electric fields between the charges.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first of all, opposite charge attract, and like charges repel. charges also can create an orbit. for example, in an atom the electrons(positive) orbit around the neutrons and the protons. This orbit is created by the electrons being attracted to the protons, keeping it spinning toward the nucleus of the atom, but this is counteracted by centrifical force pulling it away, therefore it keeps going around.

MrSEnsitive wow :O.. like charges repel. not attract :O and @raane don't ever think that centrepetal force and centrifugal force balance each other... its not a counter force.. its just an intertial force.. the electrons ARE ACCELERATED TOWARDS THE NUCLeus.. the only reason it doesn't fall is because its moving.. as it is falling towards the nucleus the electron keeps moving such that the nucleus curves away.. so its in the state of FREE FALL..
