OpenStudy (anonymous):

(k −1)^2 + k^2 + (2k − 2)^2 = 0 How do you find k?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess you could just grind it out unless there is some more elegant way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[6k^2-10k+5=0\] i think there are no real zeros

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@satellite73 i got the same answer but according to the mark scheme the answer is 6k^2 -10k + 4 and the Ks are 1 or 2/3

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

I would say it is a misprint. There is no way around that 5 on the end.
