OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

Can someone kindly and please help me http://oi42.tinypic.com/158toj.jpg

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Nerdy_3000 do you have any idea?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the square might be simple enough, and assuming the triangle is equilateral .... is the dot in the center?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

only if they respond. id rather interact with them along the way.

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

Sorry about that.... People take too long for me to get help so i was waiting. and yes the dot is in the center

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

All you need to do is use the formula in which i'm confused to which one i need to use either the... Area of equilateral triangle-A=1/4*squareroot3*s^2 or Area of a regular Polygon- A=1/2*apothem*number of sides*length of sides

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

okay you multiplied 4*2 to get oc

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

can HC be two?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@e.mccormick rescue,please

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Ever worked with the apothem?

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

yes

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

That is what they gave you in #8.

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

yes, it is 4 right

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

You can either use formulas related to that, or the fact that the senter point of the triangle splits the triangle into a special triangle. It is a regular poligon, all sides the same, therefore all angles the same.|dw:1367874191704:dw|
