Which of the following is not a step used when graphing the equation y=1/2 x-3 using the slope-intercept method?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Plot the y-intercept (0, -3). Draw a line through the two points. Count up 1 and right 2 from the y-intercept. Plot the x-intercept (6, 0).

OpenStudy (ivancsc1996):

Plot the x-intercept (6, 0).

ok

@kelliegirl33 help

OpenStudy (ivancsc1996):

That must be wrong since it is the slope-intercept method. You need to use the slope which is 1/2 to be right. 1. Plot the y-intercept (0, -3). 2. Count up 1 and right 2 from the y-intercept. 3. Draw a line through the two points. It ends up giving the same graph but I think this is the right method.

OpenStudy (loser66):

yes, you are right, my bad, I confused between x, y intercept with slope intercept. sorry . I take it back, hihih
