lim x→1 x^2-1/x+2

OpenStudy (loser66):

is it not =0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 0/3 but i don't know if that's right

OpenStudy (loser66):

@_Sam , please, explain us,

sam (.sam.):

You got it iHeartYou, \[\lim_{x \rightarrow 1}\frac{(x-1)(x+1)}{x+2} \Longrightarrow \lim_{x \rightarrow 1}\frac{(1-1)(1+1)}{1+2} \\ \\ \Longrightarrow 0\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@.Sam. is the answer 0 because 0/3 = 0

sam (.sam.):

Yes that's what you've got \[\lim_{x \rightarrow 1}\frac{(0)(2)}{3} \Longrightarrow \frac{0}{3}=0\]

thanks
