Some of the students finished their homework. The antecedent is "some," which is plural, and the pronoun (their) is plural as well. In the first sentence, the pronoun (her) is singular while the antecedent (both) is plural. In the last sentence, the pronoun (their) is plural while the antecedent (someone) is singular. In neither of those sentences does the personal pronoun agree with its antecedent.
