Please help me solve this problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need so simplify it as much as possible

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just do the multiplication !??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i get 348.9 but shouldnt the answer be a radical?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Using the distributive property, 6root(5)*9root(2) + 6root(5)*root(5) + 7root(2)*9root(2) + 7root(2)*root(5) = 54root(10) + 6*5 + 63*2 + 7*root(10) = 61root(10)+156

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And yes, 61root(10)+156 = 348.9, but you probably want to leave in radical form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[61\sqrt{10}+156\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dorner don't use the calculator , multiply ,do the addition , and keep the sqrt , i think mugnaio gave you the correct answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[6\sqrt{5}*9\sqrt{2} + 6\sqrt{5}*\sqrt{5} + 7\sqrt{2}*9\sqrt{2} + 7\sqrt{2}*\sqrt{5}\] \[= 54\sqrt{10} + 6*5 + 63*2 + 7*\sqrt{10}\] \[= 61\sqrt{10}+156\] \[= 348.9\] Already replied earlier, but this one uses fancy radicals ;) And I'd recommend leaving as radical as I said earlier, and Mugnaio/kyusakazaki said
