Foods such as insects or seeds are eating by different type of Galapagos species because of how they are born with different size of beaks can affect their type of food they eat. In Galapagos island, birds uses beaks to feed themselves and their family. Beaks such as short beaks, long beaks, thin beaks, or thick beaks are naturally selected. Natural selection is mainly based on the availability of food. Long sharp beaks are used to feed on insects, the short thick beaks are used to crush on seeds.
