Im not sure about what a conservative stands for in vectorial calculus. also when integrating vectors how can i tell the direction, if its either clock or counterwise

A conservative vector field is one in which line integrals are path independent. Think like the gravitational potential field of Earth; it doesn't matter how you get from the top to the bottom of the ladder as the difference in potential energy is the same.
