Anyone know how to solve this?

@Mertsj

multiply rows by columns...add values for the single index...like so: (-2 * -1) + (5 * 2) = 12 (1 * -1) + (-2 * 2) = -5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tehmagik yeah i just figured it out, thanks you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tehmagik so for this one the answer is A right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, it's A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

something to keep in mind: multiplying matrices isn't like multiplying numbers. multiplying matrices in different orders yields different answers (with a few exceptions, of course)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tehmagik i dont understnad this one, can you help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tehmagik im guessing its D since i think you multiply the same thing but negative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes - to negate a matrix you negate each value within it. D is correct.
