Which is better and why is that so? Saturated or unsaturated fat?
So, if you are trying to follow a cholesterol-lowering diet, eating unsaturated fats should not raise your cholesterol levels further. However, you should try to avoid foods high in saturated fats, since consuming a diet high in this type of fat could increase your risk of having high cholesterol and heart disease over time. therefore unsaturated fat is good :)
Thanks!!
ur welcome :)
That also means that it's easier to break carbon-carbon double bonds than carbon-carbon bonds yeah?
nooo i doesn't :)
C=C is stronger in strength and C-C is lower strength :)
its something to do with storage of fat and increase in the level of cholesterol :)
Noo I'm confused! Then why is it unsaturated fats are better when they are made of carboncarbon double bonds?
LOL its based on biology but still I will add this what exactly chemistry is taking place i don't know but this is related to the storage of it and accumulation in body cells saturated fats or "saturated fatty acids" are not easily removed from the body by high density lipoproteins (HDL Cholesterol) and other fat scavenging enzymes. Saturated fats then accumulate in adipose tissue, accumulate around the internal organs and the heart, and build up and clog arteries (arterial plaque).
its depended on enzyme i think some enzyme may not consume or catalyze(breakdown ) the saturated one hence they remain in body :)
Oo I see okay and btw you're so smart!
thank you :)
