Divide. (8m^7-10m^5) divide by 2m^3
ok so then do like terms
that would work Mertsj but he may be doing factor theorem and it would be harder to do this if he had a division such as 2m+3
Your way is fine, it works for this question and questions similar just figured it would be helpful to attempt to explain how to do it with other terms
these are the answers im supposed to get 4m^7-5m^5 4m^4-10m^5 8m^7-10m^2 4m^4-5m^2
since you are dividing by 2m^3 since other questions are more demanding, I would do it this way. (2m^3)( ) start of with two brackets, one being the dividing term to start of, you want to look at what will multiply by 2m^3 to give you 8m^7 can you do this?
dont forget your rules of indices, a^b x c^b= ac^b+b
i still dont get what your sayin im srry its just tht im not tht good at algebra
you should probably practice algebra before doing things like this http://www.algebra.com/algebra/homework/Exponents/change-this-name15736.lesson
