write an equation using two variables to show the relationship between the distance the car travels and the gallons of gas it uses

OpenStudy (anonymous):

someone please help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need the information on the car, like mpg and distance traveled, etc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ummmmmmmmmm

OpenStudy (nathan917):

Does not give any?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it dose

OpenStudy (nathan917):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

someone

OpenStudy (nathan917):

Sec.

OpenStudy (nathan917):

Does is say how much the gas tank can hold?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (nathan917):

What are your options?? or is it a writing question?

OpenStudy (nathan917):

@smartguy1124

OpenStudy (nathan917):

d = 30g ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh tanks

OpenStudy (nathan917):

That was an option?

OpenStudy (nathan917):

You could use the slope intercept form to represent it. y=30x, where y is miles traveled and x is gallons. You could also write y/x=30. @smokeydabear

OpenStudy (nathan917):

Would you agree?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I agree, if the mpg is 30 then y=30x, where y is miles traveled.
