can some help me with, Substitution Method: 4x + y = 11 x + 2y = 8 A: (3, 2) (2, 3) (-2, -3) (-2, 3)
I don't know which variable substitute first.
If I were you I would subsitute the second equation into the first. So it would start by solving 4(8-2y) + y = 11, then you would solve for y. *I started by getting X by itself in the second equation*
Hmm..maybe not, it didn't work out as planned. Have you tried just filling in all the options into both equations? I elimnated all of them out except for B (2,3) by filling in the numbers..
Yep that's right thank you!
Math makes me feel so dumb sometimes.
Lol I know the feeling, and it doesn't get any better the more classes you take. I'm in College algebra/Algebra 2 and chemistry and I can't remember how multiply radicals sometimes
I haven't even gotten into radicals yet. That's At the end of the year for 9th graders. XD;
Consider yourself lucky, they have become my most hated part of math, and thank goodness my last day of school is tomorrow :)
Your lucky too ,I have 2 more weeks of this ,and After your school years end you may never have to do this again.
Oh I know I don't :) My ACT and college placement test scores got me out of applied math next fall
That's messed up. So you get like a free period until then?
Well not exactly. Technically I'm free to do whatever I want. I recieve my diploma on Sunday, so its all up to me if I continue on with my education next fall.
How can continuing help?
Welp I gotta go ttyl
