OpenStudy (agent0smith):

If \[\large \sin \theta = 0.8\] then you need to find theta... you can use the inverse sin (sin^-1)

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

You'll need to do it on a calculator, have your calculator set to radians mode. \[\Large \sin \theta = 0.8\]then\[\Large \theta = \sin^{-1} 0.8\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Will i need a calculator to solve this ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@agent0smith

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would my answer be 4.95 ?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Yes, i just said you will :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

was 4.95 right ?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

No, that's not correct. I'm not sure how you got that...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i used the calculator lol let me try again ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.93

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

That's correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you help me with more ?

@agent0smith

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

This is exactly like this last one, using tan instead of sin... you should be able to work it out, just do it the same way as the last, but with tan.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.24 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@agent0smith

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Did you do \[\Large \tan^{-1} 0.25\]or \[\Large \tan^{-1} -0.25\]?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the bottom one. & my calculator just died so what do i do ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@agent0smith

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hello ? @agent0smith

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Jesus dude, have some patience :P Use google: https://www.google.com/search?q=arctan+-0.25&aq=f&oq=arctan+-0.25&aqs=chrome.0.57j0.5361j0&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you lol @agent0smith can you help me with more .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

You'd be better off posting a new question, I gotta go soon anyway

OpenStudy (anonymous):
