At the x-intercepts, the values of y is zero... therefore to find the x-intercepts, plug in zero wherever you see y.... i think that has already being done for you in the question.....so you could just use the quadratic formula to find x..

and i told you that, at the x-intercepts the y(coordinates) is zero...that is why there is a zero at the y-coordinate column...
