OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = 7 sin t + sin 7t y = 7 cos t + cos 7t

OpenStudy (primeralph):

do what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

parametric equations. I dont understand parametric equations.

OpenStudy (primeralph):

you want me to unparametize them or sth?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it wants me to graph each pair

OpenStudy (primeralph):

|dw:1368723681564:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just choose random values for t?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

preferably multiples of pi/4 or something like that because the functions are trig......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so like I can choose 4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2+y^2=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@pasta is that the formula for the equation? I am so confused with this parametric stuff

OpenStudy (primeralph):

@pasta that might work, but the person wasn't asked to condense it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so x^2+y^2=1 is the formula that I will use?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that fornular is used for solving if it is graphing then just pick values in degrees assign them to ,t, and plot

OpenStudy (primeralph):

@pasta don't confuse the person. All he/she wants is to graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so I can use 14 as my t? I am lost. How would I graph it?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

just use values like -5pi/4, -4pi/4 etc....up to 5pi/4 something like that n*pi/4
