You roll two dice. What is the probability of rolling a 2 or a 4 on the second die, given that you rolled an even number on the first die? A 6X6 table of dice outcomes will help you to answer this question. A. 1/3 B. 2/36 C. 1/6 D. 7/36 E. 1/2
@amistre64 do you know this one? I'm sorry for all my questions. I failed my last quiz and if I fail this one I will not pass Algebra II :/
personally, id count all the boxes in the grid that have a 2 in it
and all the boxes that have a 4 in them ... forgot that or 4 part
if i counted right, i see 20 boxes that have a 2 or a 4 in them 20 out of 36, and reduce
i get 5/9 but thats not an option :/
IF the grid is setup so that (1st,2nd) .... but thats not really a usual setup
if thats the case, then 12/36 = 1/3 but that just doenst feel right to me ....
what did you pick the first time?
I don't remember, but 1/3 sounds right.. What do you think?
its the only one that seems to fit since 5/9 aint up there.
1/3 was correct!
yay!!
i was bound to get one right :)
