LOL... now it does work... i just wasted half an hour making nice links to sections for a newbie and when posted it was just plain latex code shown as text... indeed strange
Ill try to post the link list i wrote here
If you're having trouble while studying for your OGTs you can always ask you questions here. Proper sections are: (clickable links) \( {\tt\color{blue}{\href{ http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Writing }{Writing}} \;\;for~subjects~writing\;and\;reading}\) \( {\tt\color{blue}{\href{ http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Mathematics }{Mathematics}}\;\;for~subject\;Math}\) \( {\tt\color{blue}{\href{ http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Social%20Sciences }{Social Sciences}}\;\;for~subject\;Social\;Studies}\) The Subject Science can involve more sections on Openstudy, these are: \( {\Rightarrow\tt\color{blue}{\href{ http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Biology }{Biology}}}\) \( {\Rightarrow\tt\color{blue}{\href{ http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Chemistry }{Chemistry}}}\) \( {\Rightarrow\tt\color{blue}{\href{ http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Physics }{Physics}}}\) If you want to switch sections you can hover the blue bar with the section name. A dropdown menu will appear where you can select a subject.
LOOOOOK!!!!! Anyone know what i did wrong?
trying removal of unneeded start and ends of latex

\( {\tt\color{blue}{\href{ http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Writing }{Writing}} \;\;for~subjects~writing\;and\;reading}\)
\( \tt\color{blue}{\href{ http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Writing }{Writing}} \;\;for~subjects~writing\;and\;reading \)
\(\href{google.com}{google}\)
WHY CAN'T I POST OS LINKS!!!

\(\href{www.openstudy.com/study#/groups/Writing}{writing}\) \(\href{ http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Writing }{writing}\) \(\href{openstudy.com/study#/groups/Writing}{writing}\) \(\href{inquus.org/study#/groups/Writing}{writing}\)

all right then !!! So its not possible to refer to pages outside of openstudy?
The issue might be that the MathJax implementation of \(\LaTeX\) that OpenStudy uses doesn't come with all the packages you might normally include in documents you're writing on your own computer. I'm not entirely sure, but that would be my guess.
Yes, but the strange thing is that its shown correctly in the preview. I fixed it by just using the part of the url after openstudy.com. Too bad I can't use external hyperlinks, they'll all be like openstudy.com/<source> which is useless. Anyways thanks 4 your reply :)
