Add: 3/x^2 + 2/7x = ?

just make a common denominator, multiply the first one by 7 and the second one with x. Then you will get (21+ 2x) / 7x^2

ok so for 3/ x^2 just multiply both top and the bottom with 7 and then for 2/7x multiply both top and the bottom with x. Which will give you 21/7x^2 and 2x / 7x^2 right?
so then just combine them as you are adding and your answer should be (21+ 2x) / 7x^2
