i need help D:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no idea srry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its cool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@thomaster @Cookieyumm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let's start with 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know, by definition, what a mean is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha.....no (/./)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's alright (: A mean is a fancy word for the average. To find the average of any set of numbers, add them all together, and then divide by how many numbers you added up.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In this case, your equation would be: 55+62+61+54+68+72+59+61+70 And then tell me your answer, then divide your answer by 9.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k give me sec lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i added those all together and got 562..is that wht u have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yepp now divide by 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

62.444444444444444444444444444444 ? (/./)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes but you can pretty much round to 62.4 :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh THANK YOU!! :) ~(^.^)~

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find the range, you first need to find the largest number in your set of data and the smallest number in your set of data. In this case, your smallest number is 54 and your largest number is 72. Simply subtract and you have your range :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're welcome! It's easy once you get the hang of it and you're catching on well (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i thgt it was all complicated i was like "i cant do this o.0" then im like "omg this stuff is easy" lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so like 18?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha exactly (: Number 16 is talking about box and whisker plots which are a bit mroe difficult, but all the same get easier. And yes the range is 18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i think ima tag you in all my questions cuz like u taught me well my friend lol :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha no problem (: I might not be able to respond right away, but I promise I will try :P Want some help with 16?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
