1) I'd go with (D) because the question is asking which Shi'ite group is involved with Lebanon, and that fits Hezbollah's profile. I would have also gone with Hamas, but they're largely regarded as Sunni Muslims though both groups are often associated with violent terrorism. 2) I'd agree with (A) as the best answer from the list. Good job! 3) You're right with Group A. The other group, Group B, doesn't make sense on a few points (he didn't invade Saudi Arabia and he certainly didn't form an alliance with the Kurds). 4) I'd agree with (A). 5) And I agree with (C). Hussein didn't need to form a group like al-Qaeda, he had his own country and government thugs to carry out his work. Khomenei was also in a similar position -- he had followers and was essentially in control of Iran while he lived so he didn't need to form an extremist group like that. Arafat was also considered an extremist, but depending on who you talk to, he's either an unrepentant terrorist who only pretended to seek peace or a hero who died believing in what he did. If you ask the Israelis, for example, Arafat was considered a terrorist without question.

awesome! :) ahh and i see... so either way, arafat was a terrorist! oh so for the last post... you said #5 was B then? :/ or was it C? or A? :/ haha sorry :P

And about Arafat, it really depends on who you choose to believe. A lot of people were surprised when he started down a peaceful road and appeared to give up his terrorist leanings -- he won a Nobel Peace Prize because he had seemed to turn a new leaf. Others, though, were still not convinced. Like I mentioned earlier, Israelis in general didn't trust Arafat -- the man had spent decades of his life using terrorism to attack them. But not all Israelis were opposed. A few, like Yitzak Rabin (the PM of Israel in the early 90s) decided to take this chance to work out some kind of peaceful agreement between everyone to set up a foundation for later to finally end the bloodshed. Of course, looking at the situation between Palestine and Israel today, it hasn't worked.
