When you are subtracting polynomials from each other the first thing you want to do is distribute the negative sign throughout the second polynomial so that the expression would be:\[2x^7+4x^4-2x+3-4x^4+2x^3-3.\] from there, you can simplify by grouping together the variables with the same degree (exponent) and combining their coefficients.

Exactly, so 4x^4 - 4x^4 and 3 - 3. Everything else would stay the same
